Hello Officer, the app that allows you to discreetly record your encounters with police officers. This app's main feature is the ability to be voice activated with the catch phrase "Hello Officer," which will then cause your phone to vibrate signaling the app is active. Then, the phone will start recording audio, allowing you to record the conversation you have with the officer. This feature is useful when you are pulled over or going through a security checkpoint.
Sold separately is the Hello Officer camera, a small body camera you can attack to your clothes or pockets. When this camera is connected to your phone via blu tooth, it will automatically turn on and start recording when the app is activated with the catch phrase. This allows audio and video recording of your encounter.
Audio and video recorded through the app will be stored on your phone as video files. A timestamped copy will also be saved onto the Hello Officer private servers. You can access your stored files by creating an account with us. It should be noted that files we receive but do not deem related to police encounters will be removed.
The main focus of this app is to be discreet and not notify the officer he is being documented. Without having to take your phone out, you can record an encounter with an officer, thus ensuring you will be able to hold grounds in any allegations that may arise.
