FAKE NEWS, READ ALL ABOUT IT, POPE ENDORSES TRUMP!

     No, he didn't, thankfully. But an article from the news site WTOE5 said he did. While there is no verified author, WTOE5 published an article say that, in a surprising twist, the pope of the Catholic voiced approval of Trump as the next president during the 2016 election. The article also stated that several other news sites were covering the event, even though no other news article ever reported the same story. In fact, all other major news outlets seemed to be in agreement that the pop actually disapproved of Trump (which is the actual case).

     This was an article made to try to boost Trump votes. Since Catholicism is the most common religion in America, the leader of that religion giving his endorsement to the celebrity would have made many Catholics consider voting for Trump. However, no one believed this article. Not just because the pope had already stated his distaste for the candidate, but also because WTOE5 is a notorious fake news site that is known for publishing articles that are fake and/or satirical. This post would not have fooled me, since the pope clearly does not approve of Trump's moral agenda.
